Goldilocks was built to solve this problem—not with more theory, but with working systems.


Our Origin

Goldilocks began with a frustration shared across industries:

  • Marketers didn't understand video.

  • Video professionals didn't understand marketing.

  • And between them, brand stories got lost.

Founder Ian Carr carried both fluencies—developing web platforms that understood user behavior, and making films that captured emotional truth. The combination revealed a pattern: most brand communication is either too cold and tactical, or too hot and unfocused.

The name "Goldilocks" reflects our core stance: finding the balance that's just right—emotionally resonant but structurally sound.

What started as cinematic storytelling evolved into something deeper: frameworks for brand clarity that work even when we're not in the room.
